18 x24 TIMBER FRAME for SALE

We have and 18 x 24 timber frame on display and for sale at Atkinson's Home building Center in Hartington. This timber frame is made of white pine 8x8 timbers and uses traditional mortice and tenon joinery. The frame has a roomy loft in half of the building the other half is cathedral ceiling. This building would make a great addition, a workshop, an addition, or cottage. This timber frame could sit on piers, a slab, or a concrete foundation. It can be closed in with any style of finish.

This frame is a traditional North American style timber frame, modeled after our local 19th century timber frames. This style was used in most of the 19th century barns and houses in the area. It is very obvious in the barns, but is less obvious in our houses as the timbers were covered when the walls were plastered. This frame will last for generations.

The price of the frame is $24 900 +gst including delivery and raising. If you would like to see the frame, take hwy 38 north from Kingston, travel 20 minutes and you will see Atkinson's Home Center on the right at the north end of Hartington.
